Absolutely disgusting. Ultimately killing 70 people because of a stupid bet and being so ignorant and stubborn to admit one's fault is so horrendous I can barely comprehend what sort of monster the pilot was.

If he went on and stabbed or shot 70 he would definitely get a much higher sentence than 15 years. Why should this be any different?
